How To Barbecue: From The Basics To Creating Your Own Flavor
It is almost summer time and this could not only mean lots of sunshine, beach, and sand, it also means that there will be lots of barbecue parties going to happen. So fire up your grill and show your friends and family that you could cook them a wonderful meal. It is time to have a good time, just relax, and enjoy the wonderful days of summer through barbecuing.
There different kind of meats that you could barbecue like steak or beef, chicken, or burgers. How to barbecue each of them properly is not just a task, for some people, it is a passion.
How To Barbecue Pork Ribs
After cleaning the pork ribs, spread an ample amount of mustard (make sure that it would appear translucent on the ribs) on the pork, apply a large amount of barbeque rub on it. A wide range of barbecue rub is available in the market and it is your choice which flavor would you like on your barbecue. After rubbing all the necessary flavorings, you are now ready to put the pork ribs in to the grill. For a moister barbecue outcome, cook them on a two hundred twenty five to two hundred thirty five degree Fahrenheit and leave them for about four hours to six hours. Just remember that, peeking is bad since it lets the heat out. Apply the sauce when you are about to remove the pork ribs from the grill.
How to Barbeque Chicken Wings
How to barbeque chicken wings can be easy since you could immediately toss the wings to the grill straight from the freezer. Just wait for the frozen wings to get tender on the grill and then you are ready to apply the rub on each side. Again, there are many over-the-counter barbecue rubs that you could buy from the grocery but feel free to make your own rub for a personal touch. Turn the chicken wings after every ten minutes until the internal temperature of the meat is one hundred seventy five degrees Fahrenheit or until you can tell it is already done. It is best that you put on the barbecue sauce after the wings are done since saucing the meat while cooking could easily burn the chicken wings.
Create Your Own Barbecue Rub
Learning how to barbecue superbly is one thing, but learning how to create your own barbecue rub to make your barbecue flavorful and delicious is another. Having the perfect barbecue rub is the key to your barbecue’s flavor and texture. What you need is a half a cup of brown sugar, one fourth cup of paprika, a tablespoon of black pepper and a tablespoon of salt, a table spoon of chili powder, three-fourth tablespoon of garlic powder, the same amount of onion powder, and lastly, a tablespoon of cayenne. Mix all the ingredients together in an airtight container along with the meat and you are ready for the grilling. To add a personal touch to your barbecue rub, you can adjust and add any other spices to according to your taste.
