Good soil is a crucial component for growing healthy herbs, either in the ground or in containers. The makeup of the soil determines a plant’s water, nitrogen and phosphorous content, as well as its alkalinity, acidity and much more. Keeping all these factors in the proper balance is of utmost importance to the health of your herbs.
